It all started with one woman’s vision to provide affordable, quality childrenswear with a distinctive fashion edge. Her vision that started as a simple mail-order catalogue became a reality when the first stunning Pumpkin Patch store opened its doors in 1990, in New Zealand. Inside was a treasure-trove of fresh, funky fashion for babies, toddler boys and girls… and all the way through to pre-teens. The collections offered ‘seriously fun’ clothes that have wide appeal providing quality and value – every parents dream. Parents and kids alike fell in love with the inspiring and innovative designs!
The first Patch seed had been planted and growth continued at a rapid pace with over 200 stores worldwide by 2007. Pumpkin Patch has become the ultimate one-stop kidswear store across Australasia, the United Kingdom, USA and with more growth planned. We were incredibly proud and excited to finally open Pumpkin Patch stand-alone stores in South Africa – the first of which opened in 2006.
The entire Pumpkin Patch collection is designed by our dedicated in-house design team who ensure each garment is fresh and fun with a distinctive Patch signature.
